I'm good at:

My name is Chris Gilmore. I am a Father, Interaction Designer, Digital Art Director, and nacho enthusiast. In 2011, I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a BA in Design.

In 2012, I joined a digital design agency called VOLTAGE. At VOLTAGE, I’ve worked with a number of high profile clients such as: Reebok, Adidas, Chipotle, Smartwool, Life Is Good, Kong, Crocs, and the Denver Broncos. I was the creative lead on the Reebok account and have Art Directed a number of digital campaigns for Reebok and adidas. I’ve been able to work closely and collaboratively with the Reebok team to produce award winning content that has helped them grow their online sales by 200%. My work has earned VOLTAGE awards such as Webby Honorees, W3 awards and ADCD Top Honors. VOLTAGE was also recently accepted into SoDA.

In 2016 I relocated with my family to Portland, OR to start working as an interaction designer at Connective DX where I work on large, CMS focused financial products for recognizable clients such as Toyota, Lexus, Aflac and Wells Fargo. As a member of the experience design team, I work closely with content strategists, UX architects, and product stakeholders to lead sketching/concepting sessions, interactive prototypes, and product presentations.

In my free time I love being inside watching Netflix outdoors with my wife Emily, our 2 year old daughter (and now 6 months old son), and my dog Levi. I love solving problems. I love learning new things. I love watching the Walking Dead and really bad movies. My nacho game is on point. I really want to be apart of something that will let me make a difference.
